Three ways you can alleviate poverty

Nearly 1/2 of the world’s population — more than 3 billion people — live on less than $2.50 a day and more than 1.3 billion live in extreme poverty — less than $1.25 a day. These statistics (from UN) are staggering, and we can all do something about it. Here at Grow Movement, our volunteers help entrepreneurs create sustainable improvements in their communities which alleviates poverty.

If you’d like to help bring communities out of poverty, here are three ways you can help:

1. Share your story

Have you had a successful Grow Movement project? Do you want to share your story with other volunteers? We’d love to hear your stories or case studies and we’d love for you to talk about Grow Movement on social media.

2. Sign up to be a volunteer consultant

Do you have a business background and understand how to coach and mentor others? If you are thinking about becoming a volunteer consultant with Grow Movement, now is the time to apply!

3. Donate to Grow Movement

This month, we are raising £5000 to help entrepreneurs have access to our amazing programme and lead transformation in their communities – taking charge of their own destinies and being the pillars of strength that their families and communities need.
